The Utah Mammoth has acquired Calgary Flames' MacKenzie Weegar, adding three players and three second-round draft picks to bolster their defense. The deal requires Weegan to waive his no-trade clause and is part of a 10-team no-deal list after next season. The move comes as the Mammoth seeks their first playoff berth since the franchise moved to Salt Lake City in 2024. The 32-year-old defenseman is currently playing in his 10th NHL season and is signed through the 2030-31 season with a $6.25 million annual cap hit.
