President Donald Trump has announced that his negotiating team will return to Pakistan for another round of peace talks, which he claims will take place on Monday evening. The president accused Iran of violating the current ceasefire agreement by firing at ships in the Strait of Hormuz, a move that has raised concerns about potential war crimes. This comes after Iran shut down the crucial waterway over the weekend and said restrictions would continue until the Trump administration ended its blockade on Iranian ports. The current ceasefire between the United States and Iran is set to expire on Wednesday without further action. The American negotiating team in Islamabad will be led by Vice President JD Vance, and envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
