After pathetic Game 5, Lakers approaching wrong kind of history: ‘Don’t care about s— like that’

The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling in their first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets, falling 99-93. The Lakers had led the series 3-0 without their two leading scorers, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. However, after a poor performance in Game 5, they have fallen behind and have to win Game 6 on Friday in Houston. The team committed 15 turnovers and allowed all of the Rockets' starters to score in double figures. Despite this, LeBron James insisted that the Rockets are the better team and acknowledged their superior play. The loss leaves the Lakers with a three-hour flight ahead of them and one day between Games 5 and 6. The Rockets are just waking up, finding their rhythm without Kevin Durant.
