The Miami RedHawks men's and women's basketball teams are heading to the NCAA Tournament after a record-setting undefeated season. This marks the first time the team has been in the tournament since 2007 and the first Mid-American Conference team to receive an at-large bid since 1999. They will face 11-seeded Southern Methodist University (SMU) in the First Four at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio. The women's team is set to play against 4-seed West Virginia in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament. The team also won both the regular-season and tournament championships in the same year for the second time in their history.
