Hyundai has announced that the standard Ioniq 6 electric sedan will not be available for the 2026 model year due to tariffs and the elimination of the federal EV tax credit. The high-performance 641-hp Ioniqu 6 N, which wears the updated bodywork, will be sold in limited quantities later this year. The IONIQ 6 N features the same powertrain that propelled the IONq 5 N to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Hyundai's decision to discontinue the non-N model was likely due to the build-up of tariffs and slow sales. Despite this, Hyundai plans to continue selling the Ioniqs 6 N in limited numbers.
