N.J. high school senior arrested and charged for bringing gun to school

Edward Tamay, an 18-year-old student from Essex County, was arrested and charged for bringing a gun to school. He is accused of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of firearms at school, carrying a firearm in a prohibited area, possession by minors, and receiving stolen property. A student reported the gun to the school's resource officer who found it in his backpack. The school principal called the situation "unacceptable" and "deeply concerning".
