A football match was held in memory of 15-year-old Luis Gabriel Guembes, who was fatally stabbed in Guildford in January. The match, organised by his former coach Mark DeGiovanni, saw almost 700 people attend and raised £4,400 for knife awareness charities and youth football. The game was held at the ground of Hampshire National League South side Farnborough FC and was attended by a minute of applause before kick-off. Two teenagers have been charged with the murder.
