Cleveland's St. Patrick's Day parade could feel more like winter this year due to early forecasts suggesting temperatures could reach the low to mid 30s, which is expected to be 15 degrees below the normal high of 47 degrees for March 17 in Cleveland. AccuWeather is predicting a high of 34 degrees with west winds around 14 mph and gusts up to 22 mph, which could make it feel much colder. There is also a chance of lake-effect snow showers, but any accumulation is likely to be light. The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center predicts below-normal temperatures across the Great Lakes during the March 15–19 period due to a large trough of colder air over eastern North America. Cleveland has seen its share of chilly St.Patrick's Days, with highs on March 17 averaging around 50 degrees over the past decade averaging around around 50.
