A cold front has settled into Northeast Ohio, bringing a sharp drop in temperatures and a return to more wintry conditions before a springlike rebound arrives by Sunday. The National Weather Service has confirmed that severe weather threats from Thursday's storms have been eliminated. Temperatures will remain in the mid 30s throughout the day, 15 degrees below normal for late March. A weak disturbance moving through the eastern Great Lakes could bring a few flurries or light snow showers late Friday night into early Saturday, but no significant accumulations are expected. The bigger concern for next week will be a more active and springlike pattern with multiple rounds of rain and potential thunderstorms expected.
