Apple is reportedly ending the Mac Pro, a product line that has been largely overlooked for almost two decades. The Mac Pro has been replaced by the 4,1 and 5,1 models for the most recent use due to its 32-bit engineering and interesting design choices surrounding RAM. The company will not be releasing an updated Mac Pro before 2025 as expected and won't release one in 2026. The product line is being discontinued on March 26, 2026, and removed from Apple's website. This follows reports that Apple's staff are not bothered about the end of the line, nor did they put the M3 Ultra in the existing chassis. The release of the Mac Studio in 2022 was seen as a significant development for the Mac, which was introduced in 2022 and quickly became a popular choice for media and broadcast professionals. The launch of the Apple Studio in 2006 was a significant deal than the launch of Apple's Mac Pro in 2006. The market for Mac Pro's expandability was significantly reduced due to Apple Silicon, which radically changed the Mac in 2020, which fatally wounded the Pro.
