Babysitter Arrested in Felony Child Abuse Case

The Marion County Sheriff's Office has arrested Viviana Harumi Ortiz-Lopez, 30, on a charge of felony child abuse after a baby left in her care returned home with significant bruising to the face. The parents reported the injuries to the child after picking him up from Ortiz-lopez, who claimed the injuries were caused by self-inflicted injuries. The arrest was made after a thorough investigation by the Department of Justice.
