Chicago police arrest man sought in firefighter Michael Altman's death

Chicago police have arrested a man sought in connection to the death of firefighter Michael Altman, who died after falling from a burning building in Rogers Park. The man was arrested on a warrant at Thorek Memorial Hospital. He has previously been placed under court supervision for a year after pleading guilty to retail theft and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. An internal bulletin stated that detectives were seeking to locate and interview the man in relation to Altman's death. The cause of the blaze hasn't been announced and the results of Altman’s autopsy are pending.
