A lost copy of the oldest poem to be written in English, named "Cedmon's," has been discovered at the National Central Library of Rome. The poem was written by a cow herder from Whitby, England, who could not read or write and is believed to have inspired it. The researchers found the poem hidden in an old manuscript.
