Shanelle Weston, the mother of 15-year-old Jaden Pierre, has publicly criticized the killer and the young people who filmed the violence in a Queens park. The incident occurred at 6:20pm on Thursday at Roy Wilkins Park in St. Albans and is believed to have been gang-related. The victim's mother stated that her son had asked his father if he could go to the park to play basketball that afternoon, not revealing he was actually participating in a water balloon fight. The shooter is still on the loose.
