The Denver Broncos have selected Buffalo linebacker Red Murdock as their last pick in the NFL draft, making him Mr. Irrelevant for the second time. Murdock, who set a college record with 17 forced fumbles in his Buffalo career, is expected to be honored in a week in June in Newport Beach, California. The Broncos also had the next-to-last-pick in the draft, taking Utah tight end Dallen Bentley at No. 256. Carver Willis, who was projected to be a sixth-round pick, was selected by San Francisco with the No. 127 pick in fourth round.
