Jules Douge has been appointed as the new principal of Norwalk Magnet School in Norwalk, Connecticut, after serving as the school's acting principal since January. Prior to his appointment, Douge served as an assistant principal at West Rocks Middle School and was a strong leader and partner in advancing social-emotional learning, strengthening the culture and climate, supporting service providers and contributing to curriculum and instruction, facilities, and the school running smoothly. He transferred from Kendall College & Career Academy where he served as a social worker and a member of the KCCA Instruction Team Leadership, the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) lead for the school, and an NPS Equity & Excellence Ambassador. Douge's professional background includes a master's degree in social work from Hunter College and a six-year degree administrator certification from Sacred Heart University.
