The International Space Station has opened its doors to the new Progress 95 cargo spacecraft following the delivery of three tons of food, fuel, and supplies. Expedition 74 commander Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and flight engineer Sergei Mikaev, both from Roscosmos, completed leak and pressure checks between the spacecraft and the Zvezda service module. Meanwhile, NASA flight engineers Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway installed a new quantum physics module inside the Cold Atom Lab (CAL), expanding the CAL’s ability to chill atoms to near absolute zero, providing deeper insights into general relativity and assisting in the search for dark matter.
