President Donald Trump is set to speak about the recovery of the final aviator who was rescued by U.S. special forces in Iran. The F-15E Strike Eagle, the first known American aircraft to crash in Iranian territory since the U.K. and Israel launched the war on Feb. 28, was rescued from the mountains by dozens of armed aircraft. A second crew member was rescued within hours of the crash. The CIA reportedly spread word inside Iran that US. forces had found him and were moving him out, creating confusion for Iranians. Iran also claimed to have shot down another U.N. military plane during the rescue operation, but a regional intelligence official reported that the US military blew up two transport planes due to a technical malfunction.
