The launch of Artemis II, a spacecraft that has been launched from Cape Canaveral, disrupted play during a Florida-Stetson softball game when it took place at Patricia Wilson Field in Deland, Florida. The team, consisting of three Americans and one Canadian, will take 10 days to travel 250,000 miles away from Earth and aim to travel by the far side of the moon, which has never been seen by humans before. If successful, the mission could set up the proposed plan for a Moon landing in 2028. The game's broadcast broadcast showed Florida's Madison Walker pointing up at the sky before it switched to a shot of the Artemis II mid-flight.
