Middle East producers prepare for oil export resumption via Hormuz, sources say

Middle Eastern producers are preparing for the resumption of oil export through the Strait of Hormuz, according to three sources. Top global exporter Saudi Aramco has requested nominations for cargoes from the ports of Yanbu and Ras Tanura in May, which would be dependent on resumption exports from the eastern RasTanura port. Separately, Kuwait Petroleum Corp has provided loading dates for Kuwait Export Crude sold on a free-on-board basis in April. Asian refiners and trading firms have been seeking tankers to load crude from within the Gulf following the ceasefire announcement.
