Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, announced that the country will complete repairs to the Druzhba oil pipeline in spring. This comes amid a dispute with Hungary over the disruption of supplies of Russian oil. Hungary and Slovakia have been cut off from Russian oil deliveries via the pipeline since late January after a Russian drone strike damaged the pipeline. The Hungarian and Slovak governments accuse Ukraine of delaying the repairs. The dispute led to Hungary blocking a 90-billion-euro ($103 billion) loan from the European Union for Ukraine as long as the suspension of flows via the ⁠Druzhba.
