Hundreds of more young carers helped in Somerset schools

The Young Carers in Schools project has identified approximately 235 pupils across the UK over the past two years. The initiative is run by Youth Unlimited and aims to reward schools for their work with young carers. Since its launch, the number of young carer has risen from about 400 to 635. In total, 14 schools have received the award.
