A Broward Sheriff's Office detention deputy, Edwin Horace, has been fired after he is accused of sexually assaulting one woman and strangling another at an Airbnb party. The charges stem from two counts of sexual battery and one count of false imprisonment in the first case, and two of battery in the second case. The woman alleges that Horace forcibly had oral sex with her, causing her to throw up and wake up with an unknown hole in her underwear. Horace claims that the sexual encounters were consensual and that he saw another woman with another man in the garage of the Airbnb and blocked her from exiting.
