18-year-old Loyola Chicago student shot, killed by masked suspect, school says

18-year-old student, Sheridan Gorman, was shot and killed near the school's Lake Shore Campus early Thursday morning. The school identified the victim as an unknown offender wearing a face covering. No other injuries were reported. The university announced immediate counseling and support services for students affected by the loss. A prayer service is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m.
