The potential candidates for the vacant New Hampshire Senate seat are almost evenly matched, according to a recent poll by Emerson College. The poll surveyed a thousand residents and found that 75% of them would vote for Democratic U.S. Representative Chris Pappas and 34% for former Republican Governor Chris Sununu. The primary elections will take place in September, two months before the general election.
