Jonathan Matos Morales, a former minor league catcher with the Atlanta Braves, has been charged with vehicular homicide and leaving a crash involving a death. The Florida Highway Patrol alleges that he caused a chain-reaction crash along Interstate 75 in Manatee County that left a father of four dead. The driver of the semi-truck was identified as 34-year-old Stavan Facey. The incident occurred shortly after the dashcam footage was released, and the suspect remains in jail. Matos was ordered to surrender his passport if he makes bail.
