State Police arrest former Bull Shoals court clerk on theft charge

The Arkansas State Police (ASP) has arrested 49-year-old Darla Jo Hulen, the former Bull Shoals Court Clerk, on suspicion of misappropriating $2,210 in court fine payments while she was employed. The investigation was supported by an audit and led to her arrest on April 21, 2026. Hulhen is charged with one felony count of theft of property and her bond is set at $10,000.
