Customers call for audit of Duke Energy electric rates amid high winter bills

Duke Energy is under fire from tens of thousands of customers due to high electric bills over the past year. An online petition has attracted 35,000 signatures and demands for an audit of the company and refunds. Many customers attribute their bills to recent rate hikes, which the company insists are minimal.
