Flood warning issued for the Black River in Jackson County

Flooding in the Black River at Black River Falls has caused Jackson County, Wisconsin, to be under a flood warning. The National Weather Service issued the warning about 6:07 a.m. and it will remain in effect until late afternoon March 22. The water level in the river rose to 47.5 feet early Sunday, causing some rural roads to begin to flood. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 48.5 after midnight Monday, March 23.
