Earth-friendly practices highlighted at Sustainable Ramona’s festival

Sustainability Ramona's Fifth annual Earth Day Festival featured activities at a pottery booth, including painting and potting plants. The event also featured information about the revival of the Ramona Grange 632, which hosts weekly farmers markets. The California Native Plant Society representatives also provided information about their habitat restoration efforts. The Ramona Food & Clothes Closet, known as RFCC, also featured a booth selling housewares, books, clothing, jewelry, and sporting goods. Other exhibitors included Kiwanis of Ramona, Poway-Ipai Center of Poway, Santa Maria Center of Santa Maria, the Santa Ana Center of Environmental Science International, and TheRamona Refillery business.
