Connecticut furniture store Jordan's Furniture has run a promotion where customers who purchased furniture between Jan. 20 and March 1 would not have to pay for it if the UConn men's and women's basketball teams reached their respective national championship games. Both teams are currently one win away from reaching the national title games. Several UConn players, including Silas Demary Jr., Sarah Strong, and Caroline Ducharme, featured in ads for the promotion. The company has previously offered free furniture to customers if the Red Sox won the World Series in 2007, which resulted in over 25,000 people receiving free furniture.
