The Mayor of Bridgeport, Joe Ganim, has issued a safety alert amid "tropical storm-like conditions" in low-lying areas that he believes could potentially become extremely dangerous for residents. Ganim warned that a 25-foot high-ranking railroad bridge could pose a significant threat to the public. He also warned that if you park in these areas, there is a good chance of damaging your vehicle due to water damage.
