Exclusion zone to protect endangered birds at island beauty spot

People are being asked to stay away from an exclusion zone at one of the Isle of Man's coastal beauty spots, Langemouth, to protect endangered birds nesting. The initiative aims to protect the ringed plover, a small coastal bird that nests directly on beaches and shingle, which can be easily disturbed by walkers, dogs, or other activity. Manx BirdLife hopes to raise awareness during the breeding season to ensure the area remains an important habitat for the animals.
