Sony Pictures is officially developing a film based on the comic series co-written by Quentin Tarantino and Matt Wagner. While Tarantino will not be directing the film, the project has received his blessing. The studio has enlisted Academy Award-winning screenwriter Brian Helgeland to write the script. The film is set to team the titular bounty hunter from Django Unchained with the legendary masked vigilante. The development marks a significant milestone in Tarantino's career, as he maintains a strict 10-film retirement cap.
