The California Highway Patrol attempted to stop a Chevrolet Suburban with an expired registration on April 5, but the car stopped a mile away when one person attempted to run away. The vehicle was found with a dead body and a second found dumped down an embankment. Two suspects, the driver and the woman, were arrested and are being held without bail.
