Former Hillsdale Co. man charged in sex abuse of minors

A former Hillsdale County resident, Kevin Murphy, has been charged with two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly sexually assaulting two children in 2025. He was arraigned in 2B District Court and is accused of sexually assaulting the children. The charges stem from allegations that he sexually assaulted the children in an attempt to control their lives.
