Hamas representatives are set to meet with Egyptian mediators to discuss the implementation of US President Donald Trump's peace plan for the Gaza Strip. The talks will focus on stopping Israeli violations and on the need for the Israel Defense Forces to withdraw from Gaza. The Hamas delegation will also meet with representatives of other Palestinian terrorist organizations to discuss these issues. This follows the Israeli military's elimination of two Palestinian terrorists who were planning imminent terror attacks on soldiers. An Israeli soldier was severely injured during an operational accident in central Gaza.
