Chris Payton-Jones, former Nebraska, NFL cornerback, dies at 30

Former NFL and UFL cornerback Chris Payton-Jones has died at the age of 30 following a car accident. The accident occurred on Saturday night. Payton-jumped head-on with a pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. He had played 29 games in the NFL, including appearances with the Cardinals, Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and Tennessee Titans. He also played for the Seattle Sea Dragons in the XFL before the league merged with the USFL to create the UFL.
