A hit-and-run in Hollywood, Florida, has left a man seriously injured. The incident occurred on Sheridan Street near the Interstate 95 southbound off-ramp. Witnesses reported seeing a man lying in the roadway and having to swerve to avoid him. They managed to drag him to the sidewalk, fearing he would be hit again. Police shut down eastbound lanes of Sheridan Street for several hours as they investigated the incident. The victim was transported to a hospital on a stretcher.
