Habitual felony offender gets 55 years for murder after claiming self-defense

Roben Ramirez, a Habitual Felician, has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for the murder of San Juan Melchor, after dismissing claims of self-defense. The charges stem from a dispute over a gunpoint incident in which he allegedly held at a property in 2023. At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in illegal possession of a firearm.
