Breanna Stewart, co-founder of the Unrivaled basketball league, won the championship game of 2026 with an 80-74 victory over Phantom. Stewart scored 32 points, setting the tone for Mist's second half scoring 12 points. Her team will split a $600,000 winners’ pool. The game ended controversially when an offensive foul on Stewart was overturned to a block on review, giving her a free throw to win the title. The Unrivalic game was played on a 72-foot floor, shorter than an NBA or college court, and featured a fast-paced game with an 18-second shot clock, 7-minute quarters and plenty of open space for players. Despite a strong performance from Phantom's Kelsey Plum, Stewart and Mist had too much to spare. The league's second season was disappointing, with neither team having led by more than seven points at any point.
