Over 500 fuel stations across Australia have run dry, despite the government's assurances that overall supply is stable. The shortages have spread across multiple states, with New South Wales particularly affected by the shortage. Energy Minister Chris Bowen revealed that six cancelled fuel shipments have been replaced with cargoes from other countries.
