A cyclist was killed and two women were injured in a hit-and-run accident on the Southwest Side of Chicago. The accident occurred at about 1:20 a.m. on Easter Sunday. The driver of the red SUV allegedly ignored a traffic signal and struck a man riding a bicycle, leading to the collision with a silver car. The cyclist died at the scene and a 22-year-old passenger in the SUV is in critical condition. The man driving the SUV ran away on foot before police arrived.
