The Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Archives all made fun of April Fools' Day by posting pictures of their Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. purchasing items deemed contraband at a grocery store. The Department of the Interior also included a poster advertising free flights to the moon for illegal aliens. The National Archives shared screenshots of a group chat between the Founding Fathers as they prepared to sign the Declaration of Independence. The U.S. Department of Interior also highlighted proposed changes to wildlife nomenclature ahead of the country's 250th birthday in 2026, with plans to rename the raccoon as the "Liberty Bandit" and the skunk as "the Freedom Fogger". The Army Counterintelligence Command (ACIC) also highlighted new guidance for soldiers with Top Secret security clearances.
