Couple chances for strong storms this week in Omaha area

Today is set to be the warmest day in the last two weeks of April, with temperatures expected to reach well into the 80s and potentially close to the 90-80s. However, there are potential strong storms this week in the Omaha area, with some potential impacts expected. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Central Nebraska from Tuesday to Friday, with an expected high fire danger from around 9 P.M. This weekend, temperatures are expected to remain in the 50S and 60S, with highs expected to be in the 60s and 60s. The weather will be mild, but the wind will pick up as well as 20 to 30MPH at the end of the day, with gusts expected to gust up to 20-30MPH. The potential for strong storms is expected to occur throughout the week, particularly in the coming days.
