The Los Angeles Police Department is hosting a drive-thru prescription drug takeback day at its headquarters on April 25. The event is part of a national effort led by the Drug Enforcement Administration to encourage the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes and learn about drug abuse. Only prescription drugs, tablets, capsules, and other solid forms of the drug will be accepted.
