Former FBI agent Greg Rogers has refuted the theory that Nancy Guthrie's disappearance was a robbery gone wrong, stating that there are too many opportunities for home burglars to target homes when nobody is home. Rogers believes that the suspect likely knew Nancy and may have been hired to provide information about security systems, Guthrie’s schedule, and other aspects of her case. The missing woman has been missing since January 31, when police believe she was abducted from her home.
