Woman charged in death of Parlier teen has extensive criminal history

Tiffany Mercado, 35, has been charged with four felonies in the death of 15-year-old Parlier boy Juliani Moreno. The charges were announced by the Fresno County District Attorney's Office. Mercado was arrested by Parlier Police and is accused of fatally hitting Moreno as he crossed Mendocino Avenue with his girlfriend. If convicted, Mercado could face a 25-years-to-life sentence due to her prior conduct. She has eight felony convictions for assault, burglary, and making criminal threats.
