The risk of severe weather has increased for parts of the Plains, with temperatures expected to reach the 70s and 80s on Thursday and 30s. The severe weather is expected to occur east of I-135 on Thursday, then further west on Saturday. The main concern will be hail and wind, which will be the primary focus for central and southern Kansas.
