Congressman Robert Moskowitz presented Kristi Noem with a new U.S. Coast Guard blanket, referring to an incident in which Noem's senior adviser, Corey Lewandowski, fired a Coast Guard pilot due to Noem’s lost blanket. The incident was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, which also claimed that Lewandowski had fired the pilot after the loss of his blanket. However, once they reached their destination, Coast Guard leadership realized there was no plane to fly the pair back to Washington, D.C., and the pilot was reinstated by the agency. This is not the first time Moont has used props during questioning of Trump administration cabinet members.
